M Arch, Registered Architect ARB

Eleonora is a registered architect. Born in Sicily she studied at the University of Palermo (UNIPA), with academic experiences abroad in Romania (Erasmus scholarship) and Peru (post-degree research scholarship).

She worked in Italy for over 2 years, her projects included mainly private housing and hotels. She also collaborated with the University of Palermo within the course of Environmental Design.

Currently she is project architect leading the design of a private rental development in Stockport. Since commencing work with L7 in November 2018 she has rapidly progressed and successfully led the design for a new 277 bed student residence in Copperas Hill, Liverpool. She also led the design for 3 apartment buildings in Old Station Gardens, Warrington each featuring south facing duplex apartments looking over the Manchester Ship Canal.

In her view, achieving good architecture consists of designing useful, sustainable and affordable buildings, using local materials and techniques with a visionary and contemporary flavour, trying to maintain a place's identity throughout its lifetime.

She has an interest in design, graphic design and photography.
